In April’s issue we’ve included a few pictures from the European Blues Challenge and will have a full report next month. We have an even larger Festival guide and the South African, Dan Patlansky has caught our eye, he has a few UK dates coming up, so we had a chat to get the lowdown. Laura Holland is also making a noise on the grapevine, so we spoke to her and to Paul Jones who has a new solo album. Dani Wilde speaks about her new album, there’s an interview with Sean Webster, and we catch up with Poplar Jake now that he has an electric band. Mumbo Jumbo tells us about themselves, their line-up and what they have planned for the future. We have our usual reviews and guides and Malaya Blue is our Big Picture. There are plenty of gigs to go to up and down the country, but If you’re staying in look at the Independent Blues Broadcasters Radio Guide, there’s a Blues show on at most times and you can listen either on your radio, computer or phone via the internet..

You can subscribe online by clicking on the subscribe tab at the top of this page or for the online version click on Members. Get out and see some live music and enjoy Yer Blues – all the details are in the gig guide.
