Issue 177 – September 2016

September 2, 2016 in Editorial

It was nice to hear about a follow up to a recent article and our thanks to Kirk Lothian for updating us on the Glasgow Blues Dancers. I know there are many groups of blues dancers around the country.

This month we talk to touring artists, Robin Trower and Sari Schorr and find out how Auld Man’s Baccie are doing since we introduced you to them last year. If you’re a musician who dreams about living the life in the USA, then you’ll be interested to hear what Matt Schofield has to say. It appears that ‘living the dream’ is not all it’s cracked up to be.
With the outdoor festival season drawing to a close the reviews are coming in thick and fast, but remember that there are plenty more indoor ones still to come this year. New album releases are starting to flood into the office and we review as many as we can and include your gig reviews. See what’s happening in your area with the Gig and Festivals Guides but if you’re staying in and listening to the radio for your blues then check out the Radio Guide on Page 42.
Enjoy the read and get out and see some live music, until next month – Enjoy Yer Blues!
