Issue 192 – December 2017

November 28, 2017 in Editorial

In this month’s issue we catch up with Gwyn Ashton and find out about his latest album and a very technical and detailed account of how he gets his ‘sound’ on stage. Bad Day Blues Band are preparing for a busy 2018 and we catch them in conversation, whilst Bruce Mississippi Johnson tells us about his career to date. Very much in their infancy as a band, Streamline Blues Band write to introduce themselves. Your Gig and Festival reviews are included as usual and we review many of the new albums currently available.

We have our regular comprehensive gig and festival guides and for those listening at home or on the move, check out the Radio Guide starting on page 42 which contains a list of Blues Radio shows.
It’s not too late to get an ideal Christmas present of a subscription to the magazine and you’ll find our best prices on the back inside cover.

Until next month then, Season’s Greetings to one and all and get out to see some live music and enjoy yer blues. We’ll see you in the new year.
