Issue 207 – March 2019

February 28, 2019 in Editorial, Uncategorized

This month we talk to Beki Brindle who is here touring from the USA, Andres Roots from Estonia with his new album and our own Elles Bailey touring everywhere in support of her latest release. We have a report from Memphis by previous editor Michael Ford on Kyla Brox’s experience of the International Blues Challenge. Cheri Lyn from Germany, now resident in London introduces herself and we hear about a weekend Guitar Tuition course run by Aynsley Lister. Regular contributor Trev Turley sets out his thoughts and experiences on playing Bass guitar and we catch up with The Causeway Live Music Club as it celebrates its first year.

We have the usual reviews of gigs, festivals and new releases. See what’s happening in your area with the Gig and Festivals Guides, which are now bulging with info. If you’re staying in and listening to the radio for your blues then check out the Radio Guide on Page 42.

Enjoy the read and get out and see some live music, until next month – Enjoy Yer Blues!
