Issue 224 – August 2020

July 26, 2020 in Editorial, Uncategorized

This month we have increased to nine full pages our new album reviews. We talk to Laurence Jones, The Terraplanes, Stompin’ Dave Allen and Kent DuChaine. We also talk to Johnny Burgin and our cover artist Walter Trout who should have both been touring here in support of their latest albums. The Big Picture returns with a couple of brothers who should have been touring together again and we also find out about Dean James. Our club this month is more about the man, John Stack at Blues Bar Tring. Read all about the album Songs Of isolation and get yourselves a copy.
We optimistically list the events from September onwards in our Gig & Festival Guides.
Artists still need an income, so if you were going to see an artist during the month, get along to their website and buy a CD or a T-shirt.
Until next month, keep healthy and enjoy yer blues at home or maybe in a garden!
